Obituary for William David Sampson

William David Sampson, 87, passed into eternal rest at 9:16 AM, at his home surrounded by his family.     William David Sampson was born December 28, 1926 in Fort Cobb, OK the son of Oliver and Dora (Myers) Sampson. David served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a farmer and a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Racine, MO.    David married Robbie Letretha Lindley in Arrey, New Mexico and she survives. Additional survivors include two sons, Kelly Sampson and wife Kathy, Neosho and Ernest Sampson and wife Debbie, Seneca; two daughters, Sara McKeehan and son-in-law of 33 years John and Faith Yeats and husband Anthony, Neosho; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his parents and one son Meridith Sampson. Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Apostolic Lighthouse in Racine, MO with Rev. Kelly Sampson and Ernest Sampson officiating.  Burial will be in the Burkhart Cemetery, Racine with Keith Sampson, Kaleb Sampson, Scotty Sampson, Clint Yeats, Zach Bourgault, Marlon Douglas Dan Haskins, Philip Daniel and Chris Sanders serving as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Monday, January 20th at the Apostolic Lighthouse in Racine, MO. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the funeral home for funeral services.
