Obituary for William Neal (Bill)

William Earl Neal, 49, Neosho, MO went to be the Lord suddenly January 4th, 2018 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO.   William E. Neal was born October 12th, 1968 in Oswego, KS the son of Feral Neal and Judy Watson, stepson of Bruce Watson. William, better known as Bill, attended Riverton High School, graduating in 1986. After High School, Bill served three years in the Army. Bill found a passion for professional truck driving, after serving in the military. He loved all things trucking and drove many types of trucks over of the course of his life. He loved his family more than anything and his favorite thing was simply spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids. Bill enjoyed Scooby Doo, 80’s rock music, camping, family trips, drawing cartoons, singing, and so much more. Bill was a faithful believer in Christ, serving as a leader of a Christian scout group, Son Scouts, was very active in his community and missions work, and was a member of Spring City Baptist Church.   Bill married Tereasa Neal on October 23rd 1999 in Neosho, MO and she survives. Additional survivors include his mother, Judy Watson of Seneca, MO; one sibling, Erin Crease of Commerce, OK; his three children, Josh Blevins of Neosho, MO, Kari Vinson of Neosho, MO, and Kayla Neal of Neosho, MO; one adoptive daughter, Jessica Stanley of Diamond, MO; and seven grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by his father, Feral Neal; stepfather, Bruce Watson; and sister, Christine McLemore.   The body will lie in state at 16737 Grizzly DR, Neosho, MO close friends and family may call on the family Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 2 pm to 6 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Spring City Baptist Church with John Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Belfast Cemetery Josh Blevins, Robert Vinson, Mark Johnson, Gary England, Randy Holt, Matt Glover, Jerry Chew and Cameron Woodrum serving as pallbearers.  In lieu of flowers, a college fund for his 17-year-old daughter, Kayla Neal, has been setup.
