William Franklin

WilliamFranklin, 87, Jackson, South Carolina passed into eternal rest, June 11, 2025 at his home, after an illness.

William was born March 6, 1938 in Oklahoma City,OK to William Robert Franklin II and Cordelia Jane Maupin Franklin. He lived in Jackson, SC for 49 years. William was a graduate of University of Virginia, a veteran of the United States Army, and a proud citizen of the Wyandotte Nation.

Survivors include three children, William Robert Franklin III (Anthelia Dawn), Garnett Lee Franklin (David DeBruyn), John Earle Franklin (Angel), Eleven Grandchildren, Christopher Dean Franklin (Melanie Russell), Jarrod Harley Marsh (Xuan), Anthelia Desiree Sizemore (Josh), Derrick Bryce Anson (Kristen), Amanda Lauryn Krausnick (Chris), Angel Pavey (Joshua), Jeffrey Hutto, Jacob DeBruyn, Johnathan Kyle Franklin (Brooke), Cody Lawrence Franklin (Alisha), Corey Austin Franklin (Leah), and 30 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 on June 17, 2025 at the Wyandotte Indian Cemetery, Wyandotte, Oklahoma with Wyandotte Nation Chief Billy Friend officiating. There will be a celebration of life at 2:00 on June 21, 2025 at the Aiken Senior Life Services, 1310 East Pine Log Rd, Aiken, SC 29803.
