William (Bill) Wescott

William (Bill) Howard Wescott, 67,Joplin, Missouri passed into eternal rest, November 15, 2018 at Joplin, MO after an illness.

William was born October 18, 1951 in Lamar, Colorado to Howard Joseph Wescott and Belva Mae (McFarland) Wescott. He lived in the Four State Area throughout his entire life. Bill was handicapped in an accident when he was 35, but that did not stop him from accomplishing many things. He went to NEO where he received an Associate's Degree in Engineering, and then was employed at Midcon Cable. He had since retired and loved to spend his time hunting and fishing.

William's Survivors include Tonya Grant (Daughter),Jack Grant (Son In Law), Joshua Wescott (Son), Heather Wescott (Daughter In Law), Catherine Grant (Granddaughter), Zachary Grant (Grandson), and six sisters Mary Ryckman, Pat Sneed, Sinda Wimpey, Jeanette Brodie, Ramona Brodie, and Delores Peterson. His loving partner Elizabeth Padgett.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard Wescott, and Belva (McFarland) Wescott, and two brothers Elmer Rice and Robert Wescott.

The body has been taken for cremation and a Celebration of Life memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.
