Wanda Jean Shobe, 80, Grove, OK passed into eternal rest September 25, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin after an illness.
Wanda Jean Hodson was born August 1, 1940 in McDonald County, MO the daughter of Oval Elmer and Emma Martha (Barnett) Hodson. Wanda was raised in McDonald County and lived there until 1972. She formerly worked for Sreaves Company as bookkeeper. She loved to read, bake, gardening and spending time with family especially her grandson Jacob. Wanda was a lifelong member of the Hart Baptist Church.
Wanda J. Hodson married Marvin Shobe March 15, 1972 in Carthage, MO and he preceded her in September 9, 2004.
Survivors include one daughter, Angela Reed and husband Mike, Grove, OK; one grandson, Jacob Reed, Grove, OK; one sister, Jeanetta Wetzel, Seneca, MO and her life buddy Cliford Malone, Rural Wyandotte, OK.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 30. 2020 at the Hart Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery.
In Lieu of flower memorial contributions can be made to help with funeral expenses.
