Tabitha Morehead

Tabitha Lea Morehead, 47, Neosho, MO, passed into eternal rest July 29, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO after a long illness.

Tabitha Lea Lawson was born June 24, 1978, in Joplin, MO the daughter of Kerry and Tina (Sappington) Banks. Tabitha and Todd were married on February 14th, 1998, in Joplin, Mo. She and Todd both attended the Burch Baptist Church in Neosho, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her brother - Tony Lawson and grandparents - Bill and Jessie Sappington.

Survivors include her husband- Todd Morehead of Neosho, MO; 2 daughters - Michaela Lawson of Neosho, MO. And Becca Mize and husband Kevin of Neosho, MO.; father and mother - Kerry and Tina (Sappington) Lawson of Neosho, MO.; sister - Charity Lawson of Webb City, MO; 2 granddaughters and a host of extended family and friends.

Mom loved going on walks and enjoying mother nature. She loved planting flowers and plants wherever she could. She had a passion for doing arts & crafts with her daughter and granddaughters. She absolutely enjoyed Yahtzee, and boy was she good at it too. She was adored and loved by her family and friends and all who knew her. Mom was a very deeply loved wife, mother, sister, gammi, aunt, and friend. Not one single day will go by without her precious smile, beautiful voice, and infectious laughter being missed by all of us.

The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
