Shelley Wetzel

Shelley L. (Mills) Wetzel, 56, Seneca, MO, passed away November 12, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin after a sudden illness.

Shelley L. Mills was born February 14, 1962 to Roger and Doris ( Geasland ) Mills. She was a homemaker. Shelley taught Sunday School worked in vacation Bible School and played the piano at Hart Baptist Church for 30 years. She won many kids to the Lord and some of them still attend the church today. She loved Tele-Evangelism SBC, Billy Graham Ministries, Hartland Woods and had several online businesses. She was a member of Destiny Church in Joplin, MO.

Shelley L. Mills married Randy James Wetzel May 5, 1983 in Hart, MO and he survives.

Additional survivors include her parents Roger and Doris Mills; her children Travis Wetzel and wife Cyndi, Jamie Haun and husband William, Chad Wetzel and wife Jenni and Wade Wetzel and wife Taylor; her siblings, Susan Whitehead and husband John and Fred Mills and wife Angie; her grandchildren; AnnaLee, Cora LeRae, Trace and Ralyn and a host of extended family, church family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Destiny Church in Joplin, with Pastor Gene Bebee officiating.

Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery south of Seneca.
