Ronald Roark

April 4, 1948 — July 15, 2025

Ron Roark entered the Gates of Heaven on July 15th, 2025 at Freeman Hospital after a seven year battle. He was surrounded by his wife and daughters. Ron was born April 4,1948 to John and Vada Roark. He married the love of his life, Neoma on October 14th, 1966. Ron was a man of faith, asking almost everyone he met if they knew Jesus. He was a Sunday School teacher for many years, his goal in life was to please God. Ron enjoyed painting, woodworking, gardening, rock hunting and various other activities. He was a Carpenter by trade, like his Savior.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Clyde Roark, his infant sister Shirley and brother in law James Mertens.

Ron is survived by his wife of 58 years: Neoma Roark, Daughters: Annetta (Dannie) McLaughlin, Renee (Kevin) Zumwalt, Rhonda (Max) Davis and Kathy (Troy) Friend. His Godson, Jacob and sister in law Irma Roark. 11 Grandchildren: Josh McLaughlin, Reilly (Torie) McLaughlin, Andrea (Curt) Buzzard, Steven (Kerenza) Zumwalt, Tonya Zumwalt, Allison Zumwalt, Ryan Sparlin, Nash Davis, Sadie Belle Davis, Trace Friend and Abby Friend, along with 13 Great-Grandkids One brother, Robert (Darlene) Roark, sisters Joan (Don) Marlow, Oleta Bell, Janice (Larry) Marlow, and Arlene Mertens, many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 -7 pm, Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Firday, July 18, 2025 at the Seneca Assembly of God with Mark Buzzard, Curt Buzzard and Dannie McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be in the Wyandotte Indian Cemetery with Josh McLaughlin, Reilly McLaughlin, Steven Zumwalt, Ryan Sparlin, Nash Davis, Trace Friend and Jacob Roark serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dannie McLaughlin, Max Davis, Kevin Zumwalt and Troy Friend.
