Robert Merriman

Robert M. Merriman, 53, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 7:40 PM at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Grove, OK.   Robert Melvin Merriman was born December 4, 1958 in Seneca, MO the son of John R. and Mary (Neely) Merriman.  Robert had formerly worked as a Tree Trimmer for Shade Tree in Joplin and City Utility of Springfield. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and loved to fish, play golf, avid pool player and was a big Dallas Cowboy Fan. Robert loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.  Survivors include his father, John R. Merriman, Miami, OK; his mother Mary Tinsley, Neosho; Deborah Bilbrey, Seneca mother of his five children, April Pippins and husband Duane, Joplin, Autumn Warner and husband Jason, Seneca, Aaron Merriman and wife Alysia, Seneca, Aric Merriman, Seneca and Audrey Merriman, Seneca; one brother, John Paul Merriman, Neosho; two sisters, Marietta Shinn, Miami, OK and Sheila Mateleska, Smithfield, PA; 8 grandchildren and a host of friends.  Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Seneca Assembly of God Church with David Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Robbie Merriman, Gerald Merriman, Claude Merriman Jr., Joe Burwell, Sammie Buckallew and Drew Osborn serving as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends from 7pm to 8pm, Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.
