Preston Earl Logan Sr., 75, Carterville, MO, passed away January 29, 2020 at his home after a long illness.
Preston Earl Logan was born May 25, 1944 in Webb City, MO the son of George and Bessie (Vowiell) Logan. Preston was a truck driver, carpenter, mechanic, and a jack of all trades. He had lived in Carterville over 40 plus years. He enjoyed spending time with family.
Survivors include his children, Shawnda Doerr, Becky Vandergrift, Emma Belle, Preston Logan II and Daniel Logan; his sisters, Janice Block, LMay Harris, Nancy Rickey, Elaine Logan and Mary Baker; his first wife Ruth Logan and his second wife Lilly Miller; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a special family friend Rick Young.
Preston was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Gabe Logan and Vic Logan and one sister Linda Williams.
Preston has been laid to rest at the Waco Cemetery south of Waco, MO under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. The family will be holding a memorial service at 10:00 am, Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Waco Cemetery.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to help with expenses. Contributions can be sent to the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380, Seneca, MO 64865.
Following the memorial service the family will meet at the Park in Carterville. MO. Everyone is welcome to attend.
