Obituary for Paula Gayle Durbin

Paula Gayle Durbin, 61, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest with her family by her side October 12, 2017 at her home after a 17 year battle with cancer.   Paula Gayle Durbin was born November 2, 1955 the daughter of Paul and Donna Durbin.  Paula had lived in the Seneca Area most of her life.  She was a 1973 graduate of Seneca High School. Paula was the director of the former Kids Korner Daycare and Preschool for over 25 years and was Parents as Teachers Coordinator for Seneca schools. Paula loved kids her family and her church family.  Her life revolved around the children of the community.  Paula was a faith member of Racine Christian Church.   Survivors include one son; Gavin Scott Brown, Seneca; One sister, Dianna Hillburn and husband Darrel, Seneca; one brother, Kevin Durbin and wife, Danette, Seneca; two nieces, Stephanie Stewart and Husband Matt and Bailey Mitchell and husband Breck; two nephews; Cody Hilburn and wife Alicia and Colton Durbin; three great-nieces, Taya, Hadley and Emery and one great-nephew, Tripp and a host church family and friends.    Paula was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Donna Durbin.     Paul's family will be holding A Celebration of Life Service for Paula will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Racine Christian Church with Gerald Griffin officiating.  The family will be recognizing anyone whose children were cared for Paula at the services.    The family will receive friends from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, at the Racine Christian Church Sunday, October 15, 2017.   The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.  Flowers can be sent to Campbell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Racine Christian Church new youth center.
