Patricia Merriman

Patricia June Merriman, 76, Wyandotte, OK, passed away April 8, 2014 at St Johns Hospital in Tulsa, OK after a sudden illness.  Patricia June Chase was born June 29, 1937 in Wyandotte, OK the daughter of Antone and Alice (Young) Chase.  Patricia was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the Seneca Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma.  Patricia June Chase married A.J. Merriman March 11, 1960 in Seneca, Missouri and he survives. Additional survivors include four sons; Michael Merriman, Wyandotte, OK, Gerald Merriman and wife Laura, Republic, MO, Kevin Merriman, Fairland, OK and Kelly Merriman and wife Tammy, Grove, OK; one daughter, Stephanie Knauf, Independence, MO; eight sisters, Alpha Jean Laughlin, Neosho, MO, Mary Coleman, Wyandotte, OK, Betty Moore, Grove, OK, Pearline Chase, Wyandotte, OK, Sam Brown, Seneca, Sharon Deal, Baxter Springs, KS, Marie Panter, Wyandotte, Ok and Melissa Chase, Norman, OK; two brothers, Sonny Chase, Fairland, OK and Lee Chase, Rio Vista, CA; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.   Patricia June was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Deborah Blount; one grandson, Michael Merriman; two brothers, Earl Chase and Tom Chase. Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Council House Cemetery with Paul Barton officiating.  The casket will remain closed at all times.
