Obituary for Orville O.C. Hall

Orville C. Hall    Orville was born in Cardin, Oklahoma on December 6, 1923 to Laura and Albert Hall.  He died in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on July 24, 2012 at the age of 88.    Friends and family knew him as O.C., Cliff, or Cliffie.  O. C. had to make the difficult decision to sell their 80 acre farm in 2011 due to his and Mary Jo’s declining health.    O. C. was an electrician at B. F. Goodrich and retired after 30 plus years of employment.  He loved to hunt and fish.  One of his biggest enjoyments was planting a garden and sharing with his neighbors.   O. C. helped many people in his church and neighborhood with electrical and plumbing issues never expecting anything in return.  He was a member of Seneca Christian Church and attended Indian Springs Baptist in Broken Arrow.  Cliff and Mary Jo would have been married 65 years in October.  He was blessed with four children; Lee, Lynn, Kathy, Shelly and their spouses; Glenda, Pattie, Lerry, and Scott.   He was loved by his grandchildren, Dreama, Drenda & Dustin, Geoff, Gerod & Ami, Kelsey, Briana, Chris & Diana, Stacy & Simon, Josh & Tracey, and Zach.  He was a great grandpa and MaPa to Marshall, Delayna, Darrah, Ethan, Logan, Carter, and Nolan.  The children who have “adopted” him as their grandpa through the years and whom he loved are Becky, Sam, Eli, Rachel, Aimee, Drake, and Jack.  O. C. had two brothers, Carroll and George, who preceded him in death.  Even though Cliff’s physical body was weakened due to his lung disease and age; his will and determination never wavered.  He told us all how much we meant to him and that he loved us.  We will all miss him too.   Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the Seneca Christian Church with Doug Lawson officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with grandchildren Gerod Hall, Geoff Hall, Josh Hall, Chris Hall, Dustin Gardner, Simon Holguin, Sam Wohlenhaus and Eli Wohlenhars serving as pallbearers.   The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM at the Seneca Christian Church prior to the funeral service.
