Mildred Chesser

Mildred Viola Chesser, 93, Wyandotte, OK, passed into eternal rest at 10:05 PM, March 22, 2011 at Grand Villa Nursing Home in Grove, OK.   Mildred Viola Burnett was born February 12, 1918 in Wing, AR the daughter of John Wesley and Lena M. (Murphree) Burnett.  Mildred was a member of the Lewis Ave. Free Will Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK from 1988 to 2003. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Leadville, CO from 1956 to 1958. Mildred was a homemaker. She married Robert E. Chesser August 10, 1940 in Talihina, OK and he preceded her in death.   Survivors include one daughter, M. Dora Johnson, Owasso, OK; one son, Robert W. Chesser, Wyandotte, Ok; one brother, Perry Burnett, San Maracos, CA; Grandchildren, Anthony Chesser, Robert W. Eastburn, Laura Murphy, Kerry Johnson, Robin Lewis, Katrina Johnell Husong; great-grandchildren, Kevin Johnson, Julia Murphy, Anna Murphy, Jocelyn Lewis and Jericha Lewis.   Mildred was preceded in death by four brothers, Guy Burnett, Dulin Burnett, Arthur Burnett and John Burnett.   Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the Wyandotte Cemetery, Wyandotte, OK.
