Maxine Weston

Maxine L. (Spriggs) Weston, 86, Joplin, MO, formerly of Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 12:05 pm at her home in Joplin after an illness.    Maxine Louise Spriggs was born November 2, 1927 in Joplin, MO the daughter of LeRoy and Mable (King) Spriggs.  Maxine worked for Junge Bakery and the Seneca R7 Schools from 1977 until retiring in the early 90's.  Maxine L. Spriggs married H. Wayne Weston April 25, 1954 and he preceded her in death September 4, 2001.   Survivors include three sons, Ken Weston, Las Vegas, NV, Grady Weston and wife Deborah, Joplin and Steve Weston and wife, Toni, Seneca, MO; four grandchildren and a host of friends.   Maxine was preceded in death by her father and mother, LeRoy and Mable Spriggs, one brother, Kenneth Spriggs, one sister, Norma Jean Lohner and one daughter-in-law Pam Weston.   Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:03 pm, Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Seneca Cemetery. The casket will remained closed at all times.
