Loraine Harris

Loraine Marie "Rainey" (Hawkins) Harris, 63, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest April 15, 2014 at her residence after an illness. Loraine Marie Hawkins was born January 23, 1951 the daughter of Claude and Jessie (Chapman) Hawkins.  Loraine worked for the Flying J in Joplin as a clerk. She formerly worked for Snack-A-Tak and Jon's Pit Stop. She loved gardening, flowers and baking.  Loraine was a member of the Hardin Assembly of God Church in Hardin, MO. Loraine Marie Hawkins married Jonnie Alfred Harris November 29, 1969 in St. Joseph, MO and he survives. Additional survivors include, one daughter, Angela Harris, Seneca; one brother, Jim Hawkins, Seneca, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Loraine was preceded in death by two sisters, Elaine Catherine Reynolds and Joyce Wisby and one brother, Floyd Hawkins. Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Chapel with Pastor Ron Bridges officiating.  Burial will be in the Hornet Cemetery with Brad Hawkins, Jim Sprenkle, Justin Hawkins, Josh Hartman, Floyd Hawkins and Seth Harris serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jewell Hartman and Larry Root. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Friday, April 18, 2014 at the funeral home.
