Lonnie Wayne Gilstrap

Lonnie Wayne Gilstrap, 71, passed into eternal rest July 29, 2022 at his home in rural Seneca surrounded by his family.

Lonnie Wayne Gilstrap was born December 30, 1950 in Neosho, MO the son of Wayne and Dorothy (Cox) Gilstrap.  He loved to tinker on things. He formerly worked at the former F. A. G. Bearings in Joplin.  He was of the Christian Faith.

Lonnie Wayne Gilstrap married Karen Daniels July 11, 1969 in Racine, MO and she survives. 

Addtional survivors include his mother, Dorothy Gilstrap, Seneca, MO; His children, David Gilstrap and wife Shana, Neosho, MO, Rodney Gilstrap and wife Evelyn, Seneca, MO, Michael Gilstrap and wife Megan, Palm City, FL and Crystal Bray, Seneca, MO; 2 sisters, Leora Stumpff, Seneca, MO and Doris McGinty, Pleasant Hill, MO; two brothers, Kenneth Gilstrap, Neosho, MO and Jim Gilstrap, Seneca, MO; 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren and a host of friends and extended family.

Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Kirk Cemetery with Bro. Jim Wilson officiating. 

The casket will remain closed at all times.
