Obituary for Linda C. Boyer (Montgomery)

Linda C. (Montgomery) Boyer, 74, Neosho, MO., went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2017.   Linda Carol Montgomery was born May 20, 1943 in Seneca, Missouri the daughter of Roy B. and Mildred J. (Corp) Montgomery. Linda was a lifelong resident of the Seneca and Neosho areas. She is a graduate of Seneca High School. She was a homemaker and loved her children, grandchildren, birds, flowers, cooking, antiques, genealogy , and fishing.    Linda married James Boyer August 1, 1980 in Neosho, MO. and he survives.   Additional survivors include her children; William “Bill” J. Boyer, Stark City, MO., John G. Epperson, Grove, OK., Lisa D. (Boyer) Sharp, Neosho, MO., Matthew B. Epperson, Joplin, MO., and Jennifer L. (Boyer) Vigil, Chula Vista, CA.; grandchildren, Autumn Ramos, Chula Vista, CA., Torre Vincent, Joplin, MO., Anne Dee Boyer, Olathe, KS., James Allen Boyer, Neosho, Zachary Sharp, Neosho, Parker Epperson, Carl Junction, Nian Wheeler, Joplin, Cullen Epperson, Grove, and Eden Grace Vigil, Chula Vista, CA. Kylie, Kayla and NaKota Bach of Neosho; two great-grandchildren, Brock Vincent, Joplin, Callie Joe Bach; Cousin, Rosemary (Montgomery) Goswick, Racine, MO. and host of extended family and friends.   Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mildred Montgomery; two brothers Gayland Montgomery and Monty Montgomery.   The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 pm, December 16th at the Cave Springs Baptist Church on Iris Rd. Neosho, MO. Funeral services will follow at 12pm with Bro. Ron Bridges officiating. Burial will be in the Thrasher Cemetery, on the corner of Ibex and Iris Rd. Neosho, MO. down from Cave Springs Baptist Church with William “Bill” Boyer, John Epperson, Josh DeGeare, Jerry DeGeare, Jason DeGeare and James Allen Boyer serving as pallbearers.    At the family’s request, this will be a closed casket service.  Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
