Larry Winkler II, 44 of Neosho MO passed away December 15 2023 after a sudden battle with cancer.
Larry Joe Winkler was born October 12 1979 in Bentonville AR to Larry & Esther (Young) Winkler.
He graduated Calvary Baptist School in Marshall MO in 1998 he then received his Associates Degree in Business from State Fair Community College in Sedalia MO.
He started working at a young age and continued to work his way up to becoming his own boss and business owner. He has been owner of Hickory Creek Motors for the last 20 years in Neosho MO.
If you knew Larry you knew that he loved anything adventurous and anything fun he could talk his family into. He enjoyed working on and selling vehicles and loved riding motorcycles, off-roading, fishing, boating, rodeos, cruises, seeing new places and trying new food.
Larry loved his five children endlessly and tried to instill in them the basics of everyday living and how to be successful in life. He also adored his two grandkids and made sure to spoil them with anything and everything they wanted.
Larry loved his family and friends and never met a stranger. He embraced life and his welcoming personality touched everyone he came in contact with while giving the best advice without offense. He always offered a helping hand and was always available to talk to.
He was a faithful member in his church, Pentecostal Life Center of Joplin Mo, and was actively serving on their security team while helping out in other areas when needed.
Larry was preceded in death by his mom, Ruth Esther Winkler, his sister Marsha Frost, and several other family members.
Survivors include his wife Angie of 24 years of Neosho MO. His dad Larry Winkler SR of Neosho MO. His children Sierra (Winkler) and Cordell Benner of Granby MO, Savana Winkler of Neosho MO, Larry Winkler III and (Fiance) Alaina Teague of Sikeston MO, Chance Winkler and Shelby Winkler of Neosho MO. One sister, Bethany Winkler of Grove OK, and one brother/nephew Gabriel Frost of Rogers AR. Two grandkids, Kennedy Rae Benner and Kane Oakley Benner of Granby MO.
The Winkler family will receive family and friends from 6-7pm Wednesday December 20, 2023 at Pentecostal Life Center 5505 Gateway Drive Joplin MO 64804.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday December 21, 2023 at Pentecostal Life Center. There will be no graveside services. Arrangements under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
