Kenneth Bernhard Schultz

Kenneth B. Schultz, 94, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest August 2, 2026 at his home after an illness.

Kenneth Bernhard Schultz was born November 20, 1931 in Hanover, IA the son of Bernhard and Helen (Baumann) Schultz. He had lived in the area over 50 years. Kenneth proudly served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He enjoyed being outdoors working in his garden, working with his cattle, working with his hands making things and rebuilding John Deere tractors. Kenneth retired from the former American Tripoli company in Seneca where he served Superintendent. He was a member of the American Legion Post 163 Neosho, MO, and the American Red Cross. Kenneth served as an Elder of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairland, OK and currently was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Joplin, MO.

Kenneth Bernhard Schultz married Beverly Jean Meyerdirk December 9, 1961 at Everly, Iowa and she preceded him in death February 13, 2012. Also preceded him in death was his parents, Bernhard and Helen Schultz; one grandson, Ricky Drake; two brothers Norman Schultz and one infant brother.

Survivors include one daughter; Deana Halstenberg, Grove, OK; one granddaughter, Crystal Bruce, Grove, OK; one great-granddaughter Felicity Yarbrough, Seneca; one great-great grandson Hudson Larsen, Seneca and one sister Delores Peffer, Battle Creek, IA.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7pm, Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 10am, Thursday, August 6, 2026 at the Seneca Cemetery with Rev. Christopher Ramstad officiating.
