Johnny L. Brattin 58, Carthage MO passed away July 4, 2021 at his mother’s home in rural Seneca after losing his battle with cancer.

Johnny Leroy Brattin was born October 1, 1962 in Neosho, MO the son of Ronald and Janice (Cook) Brattin. Johnny attended Seneca Schools. He worked for Leggett & Platt in Carthage, MO in the Maintenance Department as an Electrician. Johnny loved playing the guitar and being outdoors. He was a Christian.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father Ronald Brattin and one brother Ricky Alan Brattin.

Johnny Leroy Brattin married Vonda Black September 9, 1991 in Miami, OK and she survives

Additional survivors include his mother Janice Vinyard, Seneca; one daughter Maeghan Cavaner, Bentonville, AR; one step-son Denny; three sisters, Julie VanSteenburgh and husband Shane, Boonville, MO, Sherri Mailes and husband Kevin and Teresa Pollok, Purcell, MO; one granddaughter, Khira and a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO will be held at 3:30 pm, Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with John Mitchell, Jake King and John King officiating.
