John Severs

John W. Severs, 78, passed into eternal rest at 3:15 PM April 21, 2011 in Lexington, Oklahoma.John W. Severs was born October 13, 1932 in Carthage, MO the son of Russell Dwight and Lola Mae (Pigg) Severs. He was an Army Veteran. John attended elementary school at Frog Pond and graduated from Neosho High School.Survivors include three sons, Douglas Severs, Pleasant Hill, MO, Vincent Severs, Liberty, MO and David Severs, Dodge City, MO; two daughters, Melissa Bell, Toledo, WA and Penelope Candice; two sisters, Nina B. Severs-Rios, Lee's Summit, MO and Ellen "Ann" Severs-Taylor, Sapulpa, OK; one brother Dwight Severs of Pierce City, MO and one step-brother LeRoy Burke, St Louis, MO.John was preceded in death by his father Russell Dwight Severs, his mother, Lola Mae Pigg-Severs and four brothers, Russell W. Severs, Joe Severs, Ed Severs, Gene Severs and Frank Severs.Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Burkhart Cemetery with Bill Taylor officiating.
