John Meyer

John H. R. Meyer III, 72, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest May 18, 2013 at his home in Seneca after a long illness.  John H. R. Meyer was born December 6, 1940 in Del Norte, CO. the son of John H. R. Meyer II and Velma Marie (Hubbard) Meyer. John proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1959 to 1963. He was a Rancher and had worked for PET Milk.  He was a member of the Rocketdyne Church of Christ in Neosho, MO.    John H.R. Meyer III married Barbara Jeanette Bailey June 19, 1964 in Albuquerque, NM and she preceded him in death. John then married Patsy (Mailes) Hall August 23, 1988 and she survives.    Additional survivors include, two sons, John Meyer IV, spouse Angie, Rural Joplin and Jeremiah Meyer spouse Tracy , Seneca; one daughter, Tina Munday Spouse William, Cassville, MO; two step-sons, Craig Hall, Spouse Stephanie, and Bryan Hall Spouse Janice  of Seneca; one step-daughter, DeLynn Hughes Spouse Greg, Springdale, AR; three sisters, Martha Pennick and Cheryl Meyer both of Albuquerque, NM and Charlene Titley, Denver, CO; 8 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.    John was preceded in death by his parents John Meyer II and Velma Meyer.   Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Rocketdyne Church of Christ, 1111 Rocketdyne RD, Neosho, MO with Denny Kruse officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery with Doug Wilson, John Meyer IV, John Meyer V, Craig Hall, Bryan Hall, Jeremiah Meyer and Garrett Munday serving as pallbearers.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Rocketdyne Church of Christ in Neosho, MO.
