Obituary for Jimmy J. Wills

Jimmy J. Wills, 85, Seneca, MO passed away March 19, 2016.   Jimmy John Wills was born February 20, 1931 in May, MO the son of Lewis H. and Beulah D. (Masters) Wills.   Jimmy retired from Ozark Engineering and Newell Coach.  He was a Korean War Army Veteran. Jimmy was a member of the Iron Workers Union. Jimmy built the St. Mary's Cross that survived the Joplin tornado along with many carts and trailers. He loved fishing, hunting, trapping, working with horses and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Jimmy John Wills married Anna Belle Brown March 31, 1955 and she preceded him in death November 24, 2015.   Survivors include three daughters Julie West and husband, Dan, Seneca, Karen Bowman and husband Jon, Independence, MO and Brenda Murray and husband Dwight, Neosho,MO; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers Lewis Wills, Seneca, Lyle Wills Windsor, CO and Bill Wills, state of FL; three sisters, Ruthie Willage, Greeley, CO, Deanie Tomlinson, Greeley CO and  Erma Barnhart, Evans, CO.  Jimmy was also preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, Gretchen Bowman; three sisters, Iona Wills, Gearldeen Roark and Wilma Taylor.   Memorial services will be at 6:00pm, March 22nd at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca with visitation starting at 6:30pm.  Following the visitation the body will be taken for cremation.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Jim Wills Memorial Fund in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home PO Box 380 Seneca, MO 64865.
