Jessie Massey

Jessie Mildred Massey, 100, Wyandotte, OK passed into eternal rest June 3, 2025 in Wyandotte, OK.

Jessie Mildred Griffin was born July 1, 1924 in Ottawa County, OK the daughter of David and Susie (Harris) Griffin. She was a lifelong area resident and was a homemaker. Granny Mick as she was affectionally call by those who knew her, enjoyed every precious moment with her family. She enjoyed cooking for them every major holiday. Jessie also enjoyed taking trips to Branson seeing the shows and especially shopping. She was a lifetime member of the Miller Flats Assembly Of God.

Jessie Mildred Griffin married Earnest Massey and he preceded her in death December 9, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents David and Susie Griffith. Sons Ernie Ladel and Lee Ray Massey. Her brothers, Walter Griffin and Lester Griffin. Her sisters Ercel Long, Ola D. Massey and Lorene Masterson.

Survivors include one son, Roger Massey and wife Dorlene, Wyandotte; two daughters, Carol Clapp and husband Dale, Miami, OK and Linda Garrett and husband Marvin, Wyandotte. 7 grandchildren, 11, great-grandchildren and 17 great great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the Campbell-Biddlecome.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home with Pastor Don Staggs officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Dustin, Josh, Colton, David, Dawson and Jeff serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy, Caden, Billy, Ryan, Calvin and A.J. All the pallbearers and honorary pallbearers are her grandsons and great-grandsons.
