James H Wooster, 79, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 9:22 AM, Monday, July 4, 2011 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness. James Wooster was born October 16, 1931 in Rosenberg, TX the son of Winfree Wooster and Downie Grayless. James served his country in the US Navy from 1950 to 1954 on a Blimp Squadron. He worked for Safeway Bakery as a machinist and was a member of Victory Assembly of God in Neosho, MO. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved his family. James H. Wooster married Lois L. Sherwood November 8, 1954 in Joplin, MO and she survives. Additional survivors include one son, Roby Wooster, Broken Arrow, OK; two daughters Rene Sweeten, Seneca and Paula Andrew, Joplin; one sister Ester Moore, Magndia, TX; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his mother Downie Wooster in 1983 his father Winfree Wooster in 1985, two brothers Winfee Wooster Jr. in 2009 and Bobby Wooster in 1978 and one daughter Dian Lawson Baker in 1997. Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 8, 2011 at the Seneca Assembly of God with Bro. James Link and Bro. George Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Jake Lawson, John David Wooster, Levi Andrew, Chris Andrew, Bob Sweeten, Dax Duncan and Eddie Baker serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
