Irma Lipe, 97, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest December 10, 2025 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after a long illness.

Irma Griffith was born May 29, 1928 in Seneca, MO the daughter of Cloud and Ethel (Chester) Griffith. She had lived in the area all of her life. Irma graduated High School at 16 years old she then went to Joplin Junior College and on to South West Missouri State. Irma taught at the one room school house and continued to teach 20 years. Following that she begin working for the former State Bank of Seneca and then Community Bank and Trust for 36 years and 3 months. She loved spending time with the grandchildren, going to ball games, Rodeos, people and being outdoors.

Irma May Griffith married Howard "Cotton" Lipe April 30, 1949 in Tribune, KS and he preceded her in death March 10, 1977. She was also preceded in death by one son Randall Lipe.

Survivors include her children, Rebecca Denison and husband Denny, Neosho, MO, Troy Lipe and wife Michelle, Seneca, MO and Marsha Welch and husband Joey, Seneca; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, December 19, 2025 at the Banner Cemetery, Goodman, MO with Irma's grandson's officiating.

The casket will remain closed at all times.
Arrangements under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
