Marie Masterson

Marie Masterson, 98, Miami, OK, passed into eternal rest June 21, 2025 in Miami, OK after an illness.

Marie Bellm was born September 11, 1926 in Ottawa County, OK the daughter of Pete and Nellie (Ritter) Bellm. Marie was a life long area resident. She enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, square dancing and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She formerly taught ceramics and spent time knitting, sewing and crocheting. Marie formerly worked as a seamstress in Virginia Interiors and Oklahoma Furniture Discount house both located in Miami. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miami, OK.

Marie Bellm married Ivan Leon Masterson October 23, 1944 in Seneca, MO and he preceded her in death in 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son Mark Masterson and one grandson David Allen Masterson.

Survivors include One daughter, Sheilah Hannaford and husband H.R. of Tulsa; two sons, Doug Masterson, Miami, OK and Chad Masterson and wife Trishia, Wyandotte; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, June 24. 2025 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

Graveside services will be held at 10am, June 25, 2025 at the Seneca Cemetery with Father Sam from Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating.
