Harry Clevenger

Harry W. Clevenger, 92, Seneca, MO, passed away at 1:40 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin after an illness.   Harry Wayne Clevenger was born January 8, 1920 in Blackwell, OK the son of George and Frances (Fitzgerald). Harry worked for Tri-State Motor Transit as a diesel mechanic. Harry was of the Baptist  Faith. Harry married Florence Conrad January 2, 1946 in Columbus, KS and she preceded him in death May 20, 1995.   Survivors include three sons, Jack Clevenger, Seneca, Bert Clevenger, Seneca and David Clevenger, Duncan, OK; one sister Freda Cooley, Hot Springs,6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.   Harry was preceded in death by his parents George and Frances; one brother, Richard Clevenger; one sister, Mary Hipple and two great-grandchildren.   Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Seneca Cemetery with Phil Clevenger officiating.   The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM, Sunday, December 30 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home.
