Hardy Dunn

Hardy Lavernice Dunn, 71, Neosho, MO, passed into eternal rest at 7:19 pm, September 16, 2014 at his home in rural Neosho surrounded by his family.  Hardy Lavernice Dunn was born April 24, 1943 in Wisner, LA the son of Hardy M. and Mary Hellen (Kerigan) Dunn.  Hardy married JoAnn Guess June 8, 1963 in West Monroe, LA  and they traveled the world preaching the gospel.  Hardy loved his family, friends, his church family, hunting and fishing.  He was a member of the Racine Apostolic church for 43 years.  Survivors include his wife of 51 years, JoAnn (Guess) Dunn, Neosho; children, Theresa Buchanan and husband David, Chandler, OK, Stanley Dunn, Neosho, MO, Mary Galington and Dawayne, Neosho, MO, Daniel Dunn and wife Andrea, Seneca, MO and Stephen Dunn and wife Aimee, Forest, MS;  21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; Siblings, Christen Cotten, Neosho, MO,  Sue Hurst, Longview, TX, Keith Dunn, Sand Springs, OK, Richard Dunn, Winnsboro, LA, Kathy Bennett, Winnsboro and Christy Baum, Carlsbad, NM; his step-mother Lela Mae Dunn.  Hardy was preceded in death by his mother, father, one brother, one sister, one son and one daughter.  Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Racine Apostolic Church. Burial will be in the Racine Apostolic Cemetery, Racine, MO with Daniel Dunn Jr., Dawayne Garlington Jr., Jacob Dunn, Joshua Buchanan, Christopher Herion, Jordan Henry, Adrien Dunn and Nicholas Humbles serving as pallbearers.  The body will lie in state at the Racine Apostolic church  Friday September 19, 2014 starting at 5:00pm friends can call upon the family from 5:30pm  to 7:30pm at the church.
