Goldie Elliott

Goldie Irene (Friend) Elliott, 91, Seneca, MO passed away on February 27, 2011 at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin after an illness.   Goldie Irene Friend was born August 24, 1919 in Washington County, Arkansas the daughter of Finus and Anna Mae Friend.  She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her 12 brothers and sisters.   Survivors include one daughter, Norma Clark of Star Valley, AZ; one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Linda Jefferies of Greenville, TX; Granddaughters, Nancy Castille, Hollywood, FL, Regina Jefferies of Phoenix, AZ., Robin Rios and husband, Michael of Greenville, TX, Julie Vrooman and husband Allan Greenville, TX, and grandson, Justin Jefferies of Greenville, TX. Also she is survived by 4 great-grandchildren, Peyton and Zachary Vrooman, Audri and Xavier Rios of Manvel, TX and many nieces and nephews of several generations.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM, Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca. Following the visitation the body will be taken form cremation.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca with Rev. Cynthia Royce officiating.
