Geni Rinehart

Geni Rinehart, 69, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest June 28, 2025 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City.

Geni G. DeMoss was born December 12, 1955 in Noel, MO the daughter of William D. And Emily Lou (Harp) DeMoss. Geni was a lifelong area resident. She was well know for her love of cake baking. Geni owned and operated her own cake business and made many wedding cakes, special occasion cakes and specialty cakes. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, quilting and cooking for everyone. Geni loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed working around the farm checking cows and riding around the pastures in the Gator. She was loved by all and will greatly missed. Her smile will be forever etched in our hearts and our minds.

Geni was preceded in death by her parents William and Emma Lou DeMoss.

Survivors include her husband, Leon Rinehart, Seneca, MO; one son Kyle Rinehart and wife Tammy, Sarcoxie, MO; two daughters, Kara Connell and husband Mike, Seneca, MO and Krystal Duncan, Joplin, MO; One brother Mike DeMoss and wife Regina, Seneca, MO; 7 grandchildren, Brenden Rinehart, Kylee Rinehart, Cody Rinehart, Corbin Connell, Chandler & Addie Connell, Carter Connell and Haydn Duncan; 4 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-7pm, Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10am, Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Seneca Church of Christ with Bob Hampton officiating. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
