Gene Albert Severs

  Gene Albert Severs, 65, of Racine, Missouri went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 in an accident at Hoxie, Arkansas.   Gene was born September 29,1939 at Racine, Missouri to the late R.D. and Lola Severs. He served in the army and owned and operated Severs Trucking company for many years. Gene was of the Apostolic faith. He married Judith Triplett June 15, 1962 She survives. 
  Gene will leave many wonderful memories with his family. Additional survivors include 3 sons Chris Severs of St. Louis, Missouri Brad Severs and his wife, Glenda of Chandler, Ok. Joel Severs and his wife, Kristi and three children, Chelsea, Beth and Koty of Racine, Missouri One daughter Libby Brister and her husband, Ross and 1 son, Tyler of Racine, Missouri 4 brothers Frank Severs, Wentworh, Missouri Dwight Severs, Pierce City, Missouri John Severs, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Leroy Burke, St. Louis, Missouri 2 Sisters Nina Rios, Lee Summit, Missouri Ann Taylor, Supulpa, Oklahoma and many friends Gene was proceeded in death by his parents and 3 brothers 
  Graveside services will be held 11am Saturday at Burkhart Cemetery at Racine, Missouri Gene's grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
