Etta McMurtry

Etta C. McMurtry, 70, Wyandotte, OK, passed away at 3:23 AM, Friday, March 8, 2013 at Integris Miami Baptist Hospital in Miami, OK after a sudden illness.   Etta C. McMurtry was born November 9, 1942 in Eldorado Springs, MO the daughter of Ernest and Mable (Sherwood) Stroer.   Etta was a CNA and had worked in the area Nursing Homes and at Integris Miami Baptist Hospital.     Survivors include one son, David Sherwood, Garden City, KS; one sister Sarah Rhoten, Montezuma, KS, special friend, Ron; 1 nephew and 2 nieces.    Etta was preceded in death by her parents and one infant brother.    The body has been taken for cremation and a graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery.
