Desiree Bridges, age 43, passed peacefully from this life, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in her home in Goodman, MO.

She was born October 3, 1980, in Belton, MO, to David Chanslor and Lynda Langland. Desiree was a 1999 graduate of Neosho High School, then furthered her education at Missouri Southern State University, graduating in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Business and Marketing.

Desiree was a member of The Canopy Church, where she worked as Director of Hope Kitchen, and displayed her wonderful calling of being the hands and feet of Jesus. In all of her time on earth, she never stopped sharing the love of Jesus and serving others fully.

She always had an organized, full calendar of events, and a weekly menu planned and posted. Desiree loved to cook, and never met a stranger. She was blessed with the amazing gift to make you feel special and loved. You couldn't go far without seeing a post-it-note of a scripture or hearing her singing worship songs to her Savior. She was unapologetic about her faith, her love for her family, and her fierce patriotism for her country and the Kansas City Chiefs.
