Delaphine (Della) Griffin

Delaphine (Della) Griffin, 86, Wyandotte, OK, passed into eternal rest August 16, 2022 at the Higher Call Nursing Home in Quapaw after an illness.

Delaphine DeMoss was born March 20, 1936 in Stella, MO the daughter of Earl and Venona (Tomlinson) DeMoss. She had lived in the area all of her life.  She was a 1954 graduate of Seneca High School. Della, as she was called by her family and friends loved to cook, read books and especially loved spending time with her family. Della was a member of the Sheep Shed in Neosho, MO.

Delaphine DeMoss married Lester Vaughn Griffin May 15, 1954 in Seneca, MO and he survives.

Additional survivors include her children; Jan Graham and husband Donny, Wyandotte, OK, Junior Griffin and wife Dixie, Neosho, MO, Deanna Price and husband Dave, Neosho, MO, Levi Griffin and wife Barbara, Wyandotte, Ok; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way and a host of extended family and friends.

Della was preceded in death by her parents, two infant sons David Earl Griffin and Gregory Paul Griffin; one brother Bill DeMoss.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, Thursday, August 18, 2022 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mack Evans officiating.  Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Grandsons serving as pallbearers.
