David A. DeFoe, 73, Joplin, MO passed into eternal rest May 4, 2019 at his home after an illness.
David Arthur DeFoe was born June 6, 1945 in Kansas City the son of Arthur and Mary ( Sheetz ) DeFoe. David served his country in the US Army. David had worked for the former Sitton Motor Lines in Joplin before retiring. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Seneca, MO.
Survivors include his wife Mary (Wright) DeFoe; children, Peggy Zanowick, Rod DeFoe, Chris DeFoe, and Tammy Rubio; step-children, Laurie Clark and Ernie Owen and host of grandchildren and his church family at Bethel Baptist Church.
Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Bethel Baptist Church with Ty Dawson officiating. Burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery north of Seneca on Kapok Rd with family and church family serving as pallbearers.
