Darrel Lee Testerman, 85, Miami, OK, passed away January 22, 2026 at his home in Miami, OK after an illness.

Darrel Lee Testerman was born November 24, 1940 in the state of California, the son of Frank LeRoy and Lola May (Skaggs) Testerman. Darrel was a 1958 graduate of Seneca High School. At a young age he worked at his family's business, the former Whiteway Oil in Seneca, MO. Darrel formerly lived in Mt. Vernon, MO, Branson, MO and Rockport, TX before moving to Miami, OK. Darrel loved fishing and being outdoors. Darrel worked for the Missouri Conservation Department in Taney County, MO, retiring form the Conservation after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Rotary Club and had a 50 year perfect attendance pin. He taught hunter safety courses and worked with the Boy Scouts Of America. Darrel loved buffalo and formerly he had resided his own herd. He was a Big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and was a food connoisseur.

Darrel was preceded in death by his wife Jani Cottrell Testerman, his parents Frank and Lola Testerman, one daughter, Lana Testerman Davis, and one sister, Imogene Elbert.

Survivors include children Kerry Kumar, CA, Karla DiNardo, KY, Bobby Wallach, MO and Loren Boyce, OK; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and his friend, Betty Gay Dale.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Seneca, MO.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
