Cynthia Hartzler

Cynthia Sue Hartzler, 74, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at Freeman Neosho Hospital after a very long illness.

Cynthia Sue Reed was born July 18, 1950 in Delta, CO the daughter of Lloyd and Juanita (Lankford) Reed. She moved to the area when she was two years old and lived here the rest of her life. She was a 1968 graduate of Seneca High School. Cindy as she was referred to by her friends and family formerly worked in the food service for the Seneca School District. She loved spending time with her family, reading, working in her flowers and visiting with family and friends. She was a life long member of the Swars Prairie Church of Christ.

Cynthia Sue Reed married Joseph (Joe) Hartzler May 10, 1968 in Seneca, MO and he survives.

Additional survivors include; son, Chris Hartzler and wife Jessica; grandchildren, Cassandra, Hailey, Austin, Axell, Gracie Hailey, Lilly and Kenzie; sister Twyla Snow; brother Alan Reed; and a host of extended family and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lloyd and Juanita Reed and brother Ron Reed; one grandchild Issiah Hartzler.

The family will receive friends May 29, 2025 from 9:00am to 10:00am at the Swars Prairie Church of Christ Church with graveside services following at the Swars Prairie Church of Christ Cemetery with Scotty Ray Yeakey, Gale West and Greg Snow officiating. Pallbearers will be Bobby Turley, Leeroy Testerman, Darrel Harbough, Sawyer Cornell, Austin Hartzler, Greg Snow and Eddie Snow.
