Charles Holt

Charles O. Holt II, 88, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 11:10 AM, Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after an illness.   Charles O. Holt was born March 6, 1924 in Welch, OK the son of Charles O. Holt I and Nellie (Summers) Holt.  Charles was a WWII Army Veteran. He lived in the area most of his life and had worked for the Milnot Company.  Charles was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Seneca United Methodist Church.  Charles O. Holt married Virginia Lee Gunn, September 25, 1941 in Jay, OK and she preceded him in Death December 27, 2000.   Survivors include two sons, Charles O.”Buddy” Holt and wife Carol, Lexington, NC and Tom Holt and wife Linda, Seneca, MO; two daughters, Barbara Allen and husband Leon, Seneca and Trisha Holt and husband Barry Boman, Seneca; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.    Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Madelyn Cooper and one son, Stephen Holt.   Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Seneca Cemetery with Roy Hoover officiating.
