Ruth Farrell

C. Ruth Farrell, 63, Joplin, MO passed into eternal rest at 7:30pm, April, 14, 2017 at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, KS after a long illness.   Cleta Ruth Charlton was born February 15, 1954 in Stella, MO the daughter of Carl and Jewell (Hoover) Charlton.  She was a lifelong area resident.  Ruth loved gardening, outdoors, antiques and junking.  She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and ice cream from m Andy’s Custard.   Ruth married Ted Farrell August 18, 1995 in Eureka Springs, AR and he survives.   Additional survivors include one daughter, Cassie Meier, Monett, MO; one son Jeremy Lankford and wife Valerie, Neosho, MO; 4 siblings; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.   Ruth was preceded in death by one son, Burton Lankford; one grandson Dalton Lankford, 2 siblings and her parents.   The body has been take for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca.  A Memorial Service for Ruth will be held at 6:00 pm, April 20, 2017 at the Swars Prairie Baptist Church south of Seneca, with Harold Reaves officiating.
