Betty Wallace

Betty J. Wallace, 87, Seneca, MO, passed away March 28, 2012 at her son’s residence in Carthage, MO after an illness.   Betty Jean Jones was born August 26, 1924 in Prairie Bell, OK the daughter of Ernst Lee and Edith Mayme (Oliver) Jones.  Betty was the office manager for her husband’s chiropractic business for over 30 years and was a member of the Seneca Church of Christ.   Betty J. Jones married Dr. W.C. Wallace in Boise, ID, January 5, 1944 and he preceded her in death July 12, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Shirley Wallace, one sister, Zelpha Lee Peterson and one brother “Sonny” Jones.   Survivors include three sons, Dr. Dan C. Wallace, Carthage, MO, Steven D. Wallace, Boise, ID and Ron J. Wallace, Prairie Village, KS; one sister, Ernestine Price, Lawrence, KS; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.    The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the funeral home.    Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the Seneca Cemetery with John King officiating.  Arrangements under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
