Betty Jean McMillan, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away August 4th, 2025, in Seneca, Missouri. She was born November 9, 1929, in Barry County, a daughter of the late Roy and Inez Brattin.

Betty was preceded in death by three brothers, Durward Brattin, Ronnie Brattin, Tommy Brattin, sister Ruby Pozniak, and a great-grandson, Ben Hamm.

She attended the Calvary Baptist church in Barry County. She was an art teacher and traveled extensively to teach oil painting to many. Betty was an avid quilter, leaving many beautiful quilts for family members.

Betty is survived by two daughters and two sons; Joyce Morgan and Jon of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, Luann Hoskins and Mike of Arkansas City, Kansas, Rick Orr of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Joe Orr of Fort Collins, Colorado. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren, two sisters, Maryanne Crocker and Russell McCloud of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, and Shirley Gudde and David Graves of Seneca, Missouri. She also leaves many family and friends who will sadly miss her.

The body has been taken for cremation. A memorial service will be held 10am, September 20, 2025 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home with Steve Hann Officiating.  The family will bury the cremains in the Concord Cemetery, near Monnett, MO in Barry County.
