BETTY FRIEND

Betty L. Friend, 82, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest April 30, 2015 at her home in Seneca after an illness. Betty Lee Friend was born October 14, 1932 in Ottawa County, OK the daughter of Emmett and Venda Pauline (Sherbondy) Foster.  Betty was a homemaker and of the Assembly faith. She had attended Miller Flats Assembly of God and the last 20 years she attended Seneca Assembly of God.  Betty Lee Foster married Fred Friend March 18, 1950 in Eureka Springs, AR and he preceded her in death in 1985. Survivors include one son Randy Friend and wife Susan, Wyandotte, OK; two daughters, Carolyn Watkins Carl Junction, MO and Susie Hoag and husband Bob, Joplin, MO; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary Foster, Miami, OK; two sisters, Norma Prater, Wyandotte, OK and Donna Marlow, Las Vegas, NV.  Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Seneca Assembly of God with Rev. Denny Sikes officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30pm prior to the funeral at the Seneca Assembly of God.
