Barbara Ray

Barbara Jo Ray, 75, Neosho, MO, passed into eternal rest May 9 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin after a long illness.   Barbara Jo Titsworth was born March 26, 1942 in Moon OK the daughter Ernie and Alva (Sharp) Titsworth. Barbara had lived in the Neosho and Seneca area for the last 25 years. She was a home maker and loved being with her family.  She was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of the Outreach Post, Neosho, MO.   Barbara married Melvin Ray October 5, 1990 in Riverridge, LA, and he survives.    Additional survivors include her children,  Ronnie Scott, Charles Hedges Jr and Debbie Fisher; step children, Sheldon Scott, Mel Ray and Darrin Ray; siblings, Bonnie Boyer and husband Jim, Seneca, Jeanette High, Odessa, TX and Betty Riley and husband Anthony, Estacada, OR ; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.   Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, One son Danny Scott, one sister, Carolyn Burrow and two brothers, Darrell Titsworth and Ernie LaVern Titsworth.   The body will lie in state at the Outreach Post, Neosho starting at 11:00 am, Monday, May 15, 2017 with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 pm.   Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, May 16th at the Outreach Post with Jim Boyer officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery, Neosho, MO with Dustan Boyer, Kyle Buening, Daniel Buening, Steve Boyer, Chad Shuff and David Ingram.    Arrangements under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
