Arthur "Art" Huffman

Arthur "Art" L. Huffman, 79, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest February 9, 2024, in Seneca Missouri after a long illness.

Arthur L. Huffman was born November 21, 1944, in Seneca Missouri the son of Forrest and Lucille (Jaquay) Hoffman. Art was a lifelong resident of Seneca where he graduated from high school and went to work at the Milnot plant where he retired after giving a life-long service to his community that he loved. Art was a member of the Seneca Church of Christ and a volunteer firefighter in Blue Springs MO. for several years. Art enjoyed fishing, camping and watching football in his spare time. He truly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Additional survivors include his life-long friend Leona Huffman, Joplin, MO.; daughter Stephanie Womack, Baxter Springs, KS; siblings Harriet Russell, Kansas City, MO, Bob Hoffman and wife Carolyn, Mt Pleasant, MI; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren with a host of extended family and friends.

Arthur was preceded in death by his father and mother Forrest and Lucille Hoffman; son Robert Huffman and daughter Kathy Huffman; three brothers, Allan Hoffman, Forrest Wayne Hoffman, and John Hoffman; and sister Alice Machesney.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca. The family will be holding a memorial service at a latter date.
