In Loving Memory of Anthony James Stapp
October 31, 2024 - August 7, 2025
Our sweet boy, Anthony James Stapp, went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2025, at just 9 months old. Born on October 31, 2024, to loving parents Nathan Jarrod Stapp and Karissa Lynn Stapp, Anthony was a light that shone brightly in our lives, filling each day with joy, laughter, and love.
Anthony's name was inspired by "Anthony's Song" by Billy Joel-a tune full of warmth and life, just like him. From the very beginning, Anthony had an infectious smile and a happy spirit that touched the hearts of everyone who met him. He had recently learned to stand and hold himself up, taking wobbly but determined steps while holding onto things, and proudly said "Mama" and "Dada," words that melted his parents' hearts.
Anthony had a special love for food and he delighted in fruit dancing videos. One of his greatest joys was playing with his big sister, Lillianna Cassidy, who adored him deeply. Their bond was filled with giggles, curiosity, and love far beyond their years.
He was preceded in death by his Great-Grandmother Sharon Stapp, Great-Grandfather Ed Chandler, Great-Grandfather James Letterman, Jr., Great Grandparents Charley and Jennifer Babb, Great-Aunt Pam Porter and Great-Uncle Ricky Gideon. Though his time on Earth was brief, Anthony's presence was a precious gift-a reminder of life's purest love and the joy found in its smallest moments.
Anthony will be forever loved and remembered by his parents, Nathan and Karissa; his sister Lillianna; Great-Grandfather Bobby Stapp; Grandparents Ryan and Alisha Stapp, Grandparents Kenneth and Candence Cassidy and Grandmother Jaime Sharrock; Great-Aunt Valeria Gideon; Great-Aunt Renee Babb; many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family; and all who were blessed to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who held him, spent time with him, and cherished every smile, every giggle, and every cuddle.
A celebration of Anthony's life will be held 10:00am, August 15, 2025 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvin Stapp officiating with cremation following.
