Agness Edwards

Agnes L. Edwards, 93, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at 10:47 AM, July 2, 2011 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after an illness.   Agnes L. Murray was born February 25, 1918 in Belfast, MO the daughter of William and Mary Bell (Puett) Murray.  Agnes was a homemaker and long time member of the Swars Prairie Baptist Church.   Agnes married Forrest Clifford Edwards on June 13, 1935 and he preceded her in death January 6, 1997.   Survivors include one son, Larry Edwards, Goodman; two daughters, Daisy Allen, Neosho and Barbara Briley, Hornet; two sisters, Gladys Wilson, Neosho and Mary Ballesteros, Salinas, CA; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.   Agnes was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Murray, Bill Murray and Pete Murray; three sisters, Cora Crabtree, Grace Gunseth and Florence Murray.   Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the Swars Prairie Baptist Church with Rev. Evert Staib officiating. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with Gene Briley Jr., Donald Chester, Jerry Chester, Martin Mathre, Leon Rhinehart and Dwayne Troyer serving as pallbearers.   The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at the Funeral Home.
